Undead Siege

Undead Siege is an alliance event: the whole alliance collects clues, an R4 or R5 finds the Death Prison, and it attacks the members' cities in 20 waves. The more waves you hold off, the higher the personal and alliance rewards.

1. Clues: Falcon Quests

To find the Death Prison, the alliance needs to collect clues - the bar under the prison picture needs 300,000. Clues come from Falcon Quests (Falcon Tower):

Falcon Quest clues
Eliminate Rebels 300
Defeat Blight Legion 300
Kill Wandering Blight 300
Blight Clearing, Aid Alliance Members, Resource Recovery, Resource Gathering, Alliance Excavation 10 each

If on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays you save up Falcon Quests for the Alliance Competition, still do the three 300-clue quests and collect them every day: most of the clues come from them.

2. Launch and difficulty

Only R4 and R5 can start the event, and only when the clues are fully collected. When starting, they choose the time and the Death Prison difficulty. Each next level unlocks when 20 alliance members have held off all 20 waves of the previous one.

difficulty required Territory Level enemy Might alliance waves for the maximum
1 15 2.4M 300
2 14 3.3M 300
3 15 4.2M 300
4 17 6.1M 300
5 19 8.0M 300
6 21 11.5M 500
7 23 14.0M 500
8 25 17.4M 800
9 26 20.2M 800
10 27 24.5M 1200

Who takes part in the siege:

  • Territory Level at least the requirement of the chosen difficulty;
  • in the alliance for more than 48 hours, offline for less than 72 hours;
  • the city is not in the cross-server state (you are not in a cross-server event).

After each launch the search goes on a 2-day cooldown. During that time the alliance collects clues again, so that after the cooldown it can launch the next level.

3. How the defense goes

  • The Blight attacks the city of every eligible member, 20 waves in a row.
  • The Shield does not protect you. Put your strongest squad on the Walls.
  • If a wave breaks the city, the event is over for you: you are not attacked any more, and the reward is for the last wave held.
  • Relocating your city during the event kicks you out of it with no way back.

The author's tip: before the start, strong players should send reinforcements with their second and third squads to the weak members of the alliance, so that both the alliance and each player hold off as many waves as possible. According to the author, killed troops go to the Infirmary, so at the moment of the start it is better to be online: heal troops and send reinforcements again after heavy losses.

In short: collect clues, put your best squad on the Walls, send reinforcements to the weak, hold the waves, heal and refresh the reinforcements.

4. Rewards

Personal rewards grow with the number of waves you hold off (steps at waves 1, 4, 8, 10, 13, 16 and 20), the maximum is for all 20. Alliance rewards grow with the total of waves held off by all members, and go to those who have been in the alliance for more than 48 hours.

5. The Warden on difficulties 9 and 10

On difficulties 9 and 10, on waves 4, 8, 12, 16 and 20 a squad has a 20% chance (no more than 8 per siege) to become a Warden. Beating it gives an extra reward, one item of the game's choice: Alliance Coins, Raven Essence or Herb Level Supply (SSR).

During the attack the Warden has a 30% chance (no more than 3) to turn into a Rabid Warden with an improved reward: 2500 Alliance Coins, Raven Essence or Herb Level Supply (SSR), with a small chance (0.5%) of Herb Level Supply (UR) or 12 Raven Essences.

6. What the waves look like on difficulty 1

To get a sense of the strength: on difficulty 1, wave 1 is a Prison Hound, and wave 20 is a Shackled Prisoner with about 2.4M Might. Battle reports arrive in Mail.
